1) Electronics CE Creative Zen 8 GB Portable Media Player (Black) by Creative Labs. Have had for over a year and my wife still loves it (also bought the 2 gig for my mom who can´t operate a tv remote also can´t say enough about it). If it would incorporate the card into music selection it would be perfect.

I put on the invisible shield from zag and have no problems with scratches.¤

2) Electronics CE Creative Zen 8 GB Portable Media Player (Black) by Creative Labs. My daughter needed a player that could handle protected WMA files. This was easy to get up and running using windows media player. Sometimes she has problems finding exactly where she needs to be but there is a book mark feature I think she just needs to learn how to use it.¤

4) Electronics CE Creative Zen 8 GB Portable Media Player (Black) by Creative Labs. I love this product. I was pretty stunned when I went to look at the new nano and find it did not have a radio included, I needed one for my gym. Having been fed up with itunes for a while and the propriertary nature of it I decided to look around. This device is really sensible in including:

Voice Recorder
Radio
MP3 Player
Audible Compliant (I use this system)
WMA and DRM compliant (I download books from the Chicago Library)
Plays Video
8Gb for $110

It´s light, the screen is fantastic as is the menu system and the ability to put placeholders on audio books and videos so you can return to your spot the next time you fancy it. Really great tool.

Sound quality is good too. It does not feel as good quality from a build perspective being entirely plastic but providing you look after it it shoudl be fine.

So so far I am well happy. Using media player and dragging and dropping makes me happy and it pics up Podcasts.

I can still download pod casts on itunes and tell this device/media player to monitor the itunes pod cast directory. You can just synch them onto this device so there is no need to lose that vast repository of podcast resources that you can find in itunes. I have already downloaded several podcasts, 5 books etc.

5) Electronics CE Creative Zen 8 GB Portable Media Player (Black) by Creative Labs. The Zen is a very cool little media player. The only issue I´ve had with this device is the video/audio sync. Creative support has net been very helpful in resolving this issue, but through my own troubleshooting I think the issue lies in the Creative video converter software. Other than that issue I love the player and primarily use it for video play back. The video playback is great with crisp clean resolution. I got a good deal on this unit at only $88. I purchased a clear plastic case which protects the screen very well. Accessories for the unit are readily available on ebay for very low prices. All in all this unit is worth the price. I hope to solve the video/audio sync issue with a third party video converter software program.¤

The Zen sports a 2.5-inch TFT color display with 320 x 240-pixel resolution and support for up to 16.7 million colors. This razor sharp display is packaged in a device that weighs just 2.1 ounces and measures 3.26 x 2.16 x .44 inches (W x H x D). The internal battery powers the Zen for up to 25 hours of continuous audio playback and up to five hours of continuous video playback.
