Canon Calculators

For Only Calculator:

canonIn 1964 and 1971, Canon produced the world's first 10 key calculator, 'Canola 130', and the world's first printing calculator,'Pocketronic', respectively. Since then, Canon has successfully developed and improved its calculator business, and are continually introducing new products into the market. In order to keep prices competitive and production cost to a minimum, Canon Calculator Group shifted its production and R &D away from 'AMI' Plant in Japan, over to Taiwan vendors in 1986 followed by mainland China, Thailand and Malaysia. In 1991, to make business operations more efficient and easily monitored, Canon Calculator Group decided to centralise its monitoring body where CEBM was established in Hong Kong and started its operation in July 1992.
