Punk is a rock form characterized by aggressive volume, short, angry vocals and often bitter political or hopeless emotional content. It was born as a reaction to the bland, corporate rock of the 1970s. Early exponents of punk include Sex Pistols, The Clash, Ramones and Buzzcocks. Punk´s recent revival is attributed to the dominance of sound-alike “alternative” bands.

Avril Lavigne Wrecks Trailer

Pint-sized Canadian superstar Punk Rocker Avril Lavigne has come under fire for reportedly wrecking a trailer she used as her changing room during a recent photo shoot. According to the New York Daily News, while getting herself snapped for Maxim Magazine in Los Angeles, she snapped!  Avril reportedly broke a cabinet, picture frame and wardrobe,and the floor of the van was found flooded with smashed beer bottles.  She must have lost her grip!

Avril has reportedly been handed over a bill of 600 dollars for all the damages.  In the end, it was an Happy Ending for her. 

On a seperate news, she said she is keen to play troubled rocker Courtney Love in an upcoming movie to land the much sought-after role in the film, which will trace Love's life from her childhood, through her marriage to late Nirvana star Kurt Cobain, and will include her much-publicised battles with drink and drugs.  Guess what is Under Her (My) Skin?
